We did it!

Getting ready for 200 chickens is not for the faint of heart. On Tuesday we were finishing up our final touches on what Ty is calling "the chicken mansion", which is actually our mobile chicken tractor, before a 9:30 pm pick up time. We are so excited about the endless amount of eggs we will soon be getting! We bought our first 5 layers in 2014 and have been eating eggs from a backyard flock ever since. How can anyone go back to eating store bought eggs once you get used to homegrown? So from 5 chickens to 200, we are ready to share our love of homegrown pasture raised eggs with the world! Besides getting chickens, we currently have our 2 milk cows (both pregnant) and our breeding rams on the Fruitland property. More to come....
